Stellarium Landscape for the Kirk Planetarium, New Paltz, New York
==================================================================
Version 0.3  (16 March, 2017)

== Description ==

The photos for this landscape were taken from the roof of the
Coykendale Science Center at the State University of New York
at New Paltz, just above the dome of the Kirk Planetarium.

== Files ==

This file (readme.txt) should have come in a zip file along with
these files:

  NewPaltz/readme.txt
  NewPaltz/landscape.ini
  NewPaltz/NewPaltz.png

== Installation & Use ==

You can easily install this landscape for Stellarium without even
having to open the ZIP archive. Once you have started Stellarium:

1. Open the Sky and Viewing Options menu

2. Select the Landscapes tab

3. Under “Options” check the box marked “Use associated planet and position”
   if it’s not already checked. This is generally a good thing to do with
   stellarium landscapes, as it adjusts the sky view to match the location
   of the landscape.

4. Press the button at the bottom for "Add/remove landscapes..."

5. Press the button for "Install a new landscape from a ZIP archive..."

   (Note: If you have a previous version of the landscape installed
	then you will need to remove that first before installing the
	newer version.)

6. Find and select the ZIP file and press "open"

You can make this your default landscape by checking the appropriate box
on the Landscapes tab of the Sky and Viewing Options menu. Or not.

If you have problems installing the landscape this way you can also
try opening the zip file and moving the folder to wherever your
version of Stellarium keeps landscapes. But if you need to do that
then you probably have an older version of Stellarium and should
consider upgrading.
