Wench

The term wench is often used by people playing at pirates to mean "woman", usually with only minor derogatory inferences, if any. This usage is primarily reserved for women who consort with pirates, but not for female pirates. Examples may be found on the web pages for International Talk Like a Pirate Day[1] and links from that site.
More generally, as pointed out in the Wiktionary,[1] wench refers to a woman of lower class, such as a servant, or may indicate a woman who is promiscuous.
There are also those who use the term as a description of a woman who is assertive, strong, and independent.[1]
All of these usages will be found on Pirates@Home, and it is up to both the writer to be clear as to intentions, and to the reader to distinguish the meaning from the context.
