Starboard 5.09
From Pirates@Home
Starboard 5.09 was the legendary screen-saver that accompanied pirates@home in the beginning of 2007. It was a tremendous sight.
It was a green version of the matrix-code falling through the screen. The very best screen-saver ever seen by dragon-kind. And the one which brought heaps of Gold Dust to all the pirates of the crew, before the still on-lasting absence from the seas.
(SIGH!) (My wingjoints hurt sooooo badly!)
Starboard 5.09 however didn't have encrypted letters (like Matrix), but letters encrypting something else. There were the hidden messages like date or pirate like sayings, which only were a perfect camouflage for the deeper hidden secret. Starboard 5.09 showed a genetic code. The only letters, which were not part of the above mentioned messages, were GCTA, the smallest items of the DNA. The letterset to spell genomes with. As the screen-saver sped the letters down the screen with tremendous velocity, perhaps noone was able to recognize whose code this was. But since one can probably asume that not Cap'n but one of his code dwarves wrote the code, it is possible that it is the dwarf's code or that of a beautiful female code dwarf. Perhaps Cap'n might ask him?
