Grog is an alcoholic beverage made with water and rum.
Grog has also been used as a term for a person's vices, hence the old Irish drinking song "all for me grog". Contents
Ageless his mum's grog recipe
1 part whiskey 1 part cognac 1 part rum 1 bit of squeezed out lemon juice hot water 4 spoons of brown sugar
Get a big glass. Similarly sized to a half pint or pint beaker you get from McDonalds. Make sure it's heavy glass, not thin.
Add 1 part of whiskey, cognac (or vieux or vieille) and rum in it. Add the 4 table spoons of brown sugar. Put some squeezed out lemon in it, or add 4 table spoons of pre-squeezed juice. Fill the rest of glass with boiling water.
Stir to mix it all. Drink while it's hot. Not too hot of course, but hot like you have your coffee or tea.
None of the booze needs to be high priced high quality. Like you will notice the difference. :)
Drink one of them and you don't care about your cold, or indeed, the world anymore. You just fall over and sleep. :-D
