1) Message boards : Number Crunching : Please Delete Work Unit (Message 8948)
Posted 2884 days ago by Profile Dingo
I have a PC that has been re configured and needs to be deleted from the computer list. There is an old Task that is from 5 Feb 2008 6:51:59 UTC.

Can you please delete or whatever you need to do so I can delete the computer.

If you have any input into the deletion process for Computers it currently is a long drawn out process with many mouse clicks and movements up and down pages to select the old computers.

It would be more useful if you could select all the computers that you wanted to delete in one go rather that moving back and forth.

Thanks

They are all WIN XP Professional SP2. Other than that I think they are all different motherbourds etc. They were purchased from different places and at different times. I don't know much about the internals/

I have loaded the .pdb files in the BOINC directory and have turned Pirates back on for that PC. Wait and see what happens?

The associated problem is that while this error is displayed on the screen, no work from any project is processed I believe as windows is waiting for an answer. I have 5 PC's that do not have a screen and I only look at them maybe once a week.I will be setting Pirates to no new work untill this BUG is fixed. I am hoping that a notice will be placed on the Home page.

Thanks
