While I undetrstand Pirates isn't a credit feast, no credit at all kind of sucks.

I'm due to grab another position in just 106 days, at the rate it'll never happen. :-(

How come the whole image in my signature isn't showing like the one in Dingo's two posts above?

I'm getting a similar problem, any change I make to "Pirates@Home preferences" is not saved.

Anyone have any suggestions as to why?

Hmmm, or is that Arhggg! The scurvy dogs 'ave changed the BOINC Client version once again! Now they be (1) wanting "BOINC core client version of 6.66.0". Lift yer eye-patch an 'ave a look at this:

29/03/2008 9:39:57 AM|Pirates@Home|Message from server: Starting in 3 days and 5 hours, project will require a minimum BOINC core client version of 6.66.0. You are currently using version 5.10.45; please upgrade before this time.

How did they know 666 tis me new lucky number?! 8-)

(1) Technically I think that should be Now they wert wanting, but it's been a long time since Errol Flynn did his thing. ;)

By any measure Aussie Assault 9 (AA9) on QMC has been a fantastic success!!

Even though AA9 is officially over, the team has just passed 10 million credits in QMC, the last 5 million all in the last 18 days. That is an enormous amount of science crunched.

The team's daily output should have started winding down to about double its pre-AA levels, about 50,000 a day, but we are still seeing around 250,000 a day. Not to bad for QMC.

It should start to drop in the next week or so but the project has caught the interest of many BOINC@AUSTRALIA members. That's another great side affect of the AA's.

The next event starts on 1 December 2007.

9) Questions and Answers : Pirates@Home Problems : Team Disappeared (Message 6494)

The team details have disappeared from the BOINC Manager display but only for Pirates. Clicking "Update" has no affect but all other projects show team details. Only Pirates is affected.

What can be done to get them back?

edit: Also adjusted the 'Resource Share' and that change is not reflected when "Update" is clicked in the BOINC Manager either.
