There's a poll for BOINC at Berkeley:

http://boinc.berkeley.edu/poll.php

Several volunteer computing projects, including Climateprediction.net, Einstein@home, and SETI@home, use software called BOINC. If you participate in projects like this, we request that you answer the following questions. This will help BOINC-based projects increase participation and achieve greater scientific results.

Please answer as many questions as you want, then go to the bottom and click OK. If you previously completed the survey but your answers have changed, please complete it again - your new answers will replace the old ones.

if not...just suspend all your other projects for a few minutes and they'll be crunched in a flash...all my pirates WU's have crunched while i wasn't looking...so it would be interesting to watch how fast they go.

Did so, even if it was Enhanced ;(.
1.: 01:19 (estimate: 01:50)
2.: 01:19 (estimate: 01:46)
3.: 01:19 (estimate: 01:44)
4.: 01:19 (estimate: 01:41)
5.: 01:19 (estimate: 01:39)

No process, just a jump from 0% to 100% at the very end.

Here's the log:

Just got the next 2, estimate is 01:37, so he isn't beliving the real time yet ;)
But I'll wait for BOINC to do it's duty here, even if I miss it.

I take it from the no work message that all the work has been sent out - is there an estimate when new work will be ready ?

i just got 3 more workunits this morning...so look for 'em anytime...they crunch so fast i don't know about them until they're already reported in.
btw...they have a short deadline...so they always crunch right away.

Just got 5 new ones, and I wait impatiently for BOINC to let them be crunched. It hasn't stopped cSetiEnhanced so far, but with that deadline I think they will be gone soon;)

i got a workunit minutes after i joined...i didn't notice until i came back to submit my profile...and i saw numbers.

Same with me ;)
First I saw some strange numbers in my sig: Credits:0, RAC:1.
Then I went to my account, and somewhen tonight I must have crunched 2 WUs with the incredible crunchtime of 55sec each, 0,14 Credits each, both valid, hurray!
Now that's what I call a short WU, aarghh ;)

Passion is a big part of your life, which makes sense for a pirate. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!

Was ist denn hier los?!

Kaeptn, wo is die naechste Prise?
Ich will was zwischen die Schaltkreise kriegen zum verschnabulieren!
