How long to validate?

I managed to get one of the WUs recently, and it was completed and returned almost 48 hrs ago, but is still pending. As far as I can tell, it was not issued to any other machines. ____________

There seems to be a problem with the validator. We are just using the sample_trivial_validator from the BOINC distribution, with a quorum of 1. First and only WU back should get credit. But it's not working that way. If 2 people get the WU and both return a Result then they get credit. But not only 1. We tried it last night with quorum=2 and that seems to work.
