This happened today - is it just a coincidence or did the Pirates WU have something to do with it?

You do not have enough memory to run CPDN. A minimum of 512MB is (absolutely) needed.

That's strange. I've run CPDN before on this PC and managed to finish a sulphur model previously.....

Perhaps the requirements for this project have changed.
I'll run other projects where 512MB of RAM is sufficient.

As it shows on CPDN (and here for that matter), you show as using: Memory 479.29 MB

Furthermore, you're using a dual CPU set up. That would mean that if you get CPDN results, you'd get 2 of them, both trying to get their minimum of 512MB of memory. Which you don't have, probably because you use an onboard videocard, which takes up part of your normal RAM as videoRAM.

I follow Les his advice: get an external videocard (PCI, AGP, PCI-e) or increase your memory.

Thanks for clearing that up. Les says that the old sulphur models needed less memory so that's why I was able to complete before.
Perhaps this needs pointing out in the system requirements section for CPDN. There may be other people like myself out there who have only 512MB RAM and no display card.
