New feature to test: if you click on the "new messages" icon in the list of threads it will mark that thread as read without actually having to read the thread.

Works for me, but we need to give it a good test. Pass the gold.

Oh that's cool!

(can you tell it doesn't take much to amuse me tonight?)

Worked flawlessly.

And I guess you can ignore my email now that I see why the boards were probably broken earlier.

I also like this function. While testing it, I noticed that, if you mark as read more than one post, that if you use the back button in Mozilla, you have to 'backup' the number of posts marked +1, to get back to the message boards. Of course, you can always just click on the 'Message Board' link to get back to the boards.
I'm assuming that this is due to the reloading of the page after marking the page as read.

Nice! How about adding the instruction to the hover message:

Unread post(s) - Click to mark thread as read

That is exactly what is happening. I hope it's not too much of a problem, but if I see a way around it I'll try it. Thanks for testing it out.
