Looks like there is a mismatch between how Pirates@Home identifies me as opposed to the other BOINC projects (SETI, ProteinPredictor, CP).

Going to www.boincstats.com and searching for user "Arielk", I have a result of two identities, one "general" and the other specific to Pirates. I also have the same problem with another statistic site, this one from KWSN: stats.kwsn.net.

I guess it is something related to the account creation process?

There are a couple of things that must be true to get the CPID the same at external sites. The first is that internal CPID must line up, and for this to happen, there must be a path from project server to host to project server that covers all projects. There must also be a successful connection (currently that means that if work is requested, work must be downloaded as well). The other part is that the email addresses that are used in all of the projects must be identical, including case. If the above is all true, then it is only a matter of time before things line up again.

And I believe this condition is relaxed in future versions of the server
software.

John,

what can I say? You were right, I was wrong: I unwillingly used a different e-mail with Pirates@Home :-(

Thanks!

Easy enough to change, but when you do, it may take a while to get the new CPID.
