Yup, you guessed it. We've used up everybody who's created a profile,
so it seems to be starting over again.

Anybody 'lurking' out there can join the fun by creating a profile.

Byron, I just want to say that it is the first time I have been touched in my feelings by the wonderful description with which you have presented your profile. I had not read it before. This time I was curious.

Besides congratulating you for the nomination, let me express my sincere respect for your words, specially those in which you refer to your dad. It made me remember my own dad, which was very much the same as yours.

Let's keep up the good efforts!

Well Byron, I am also a Grandpa, and I am about (in a month time) to reach 68.
Most unfortunate for me, I have never had the opportunity to learn this informatics procedures and all I do has been learned the tough way (as most people) so I do not know if my small photo will appear here:

I also hope that all of these new youngsters will fight for a better world!

Hello Byron, it was the year 1976 when coming back from Hawaii I went to Vancouver to join my 15 year old (at that time) daughter whom had been spending three months in Vancouver with the grandparents of one of her cousins.
We went to visit Stanley Park and we also crossed that wonderful bridge from where you can see the two lions peaks. We also went in the funicular that goes up the mountain and we visited almost all of Vauncouver (was not able to get the ferry to go to the island itself)

I still keep a super 8mm movie of all the beautiful scenery over there. Both grandpa's have gone away, but I do not know if any of the rest of the McDermott's is still in Vanc. B.C.

As you may see - I have been in your beautiful city. Went there 3 more times on business trips, at the time I was living in Mexico city. That was many years ago. Now, also being retired - I came to stay here in Valencia.

For your info and everybody else's knowledge, when you see an Astroseti member that has the extension [Valencia] after his name or nick is because we have an internal contest among different groups within Astroseti - which is our team.

thank you. Im fifteen, since i saw seti classic start up for the first time a decade ago and since then i've always been interested in the science feild. It's one of the reasons i'm not just one of the troblemakers at school who are most likely going to end up throwing their lifes away to some crappy job.

As this is the thread of user of the day, I would like to suggest that a certain turnover of the names be done.

I remember reading that it was being granted (I think Eric mentioned it) on the basis of those that have a profile with a picture (photo) included and that you were doing rounds as soon as the total list was over.
Well, there is at least one member on our team whom would become almost crazy to become the User of the day here in Pirates, whom has a profile with photo and has only been named once.

I want to put my vote, again, to see if he will ever get the honor of being nominated twice. He is Cabezon [Canarias] and belongs to the Astroseti team.
In this way he will stop teasing me all the time. Ho-ho-ho-ho

Well that's it!

(But, I'm secretly thrilled. Thanks!)
