Ahoy and Huzzah - I just got my first workunit ever from Pirates! I\'m looking forward to crunching it ;-)

Does this mean work will soon start flowing more frequently?

I got the same thing. However, I got the strangest thing with credit. There is no pending credit, there is no actual credit, there is just claimed credit - weird. What's with the credit?

Same here - I wonder if the unit was too short to grant any credit?

Well my friends, believe it or not, I got 20 units for analysis. I must give details:
All of them said that the time was to be done in one second. Ahaa! Well - each one of them took 52 seconds, so I was able to see the screen. A beautiful bright yellow color.
Name of units was yello 4.01 and all 20 had a very close correlative unit number. All were WU_1095289036_(from 19_1 to _42_1) with intermediate numbers not shown here.
They all had a screen showing a bright yellow color.
This was a great experience!!! Thanks for allowing my participation after so many weeks of standing in line.

All reported back. But No credit granted on any one of them. ok I'm happy anyway.

I got a bunch too, but only a few of them ran. One would never do anything when it finished. I tried exiting BOINC several times, and even rebooted. It would just process the WU, then sit there. No attempts at uploading results or anything.

I ended up having to reset the project. :(

Just an additional comment on my 20 units, that all went well, but apparently out ot time.
This note is for the dear pirate mates, ahooy captain!! that run the unit preparation. Please do not fotget that our BOINC program runs in a certain order of processing and by giving a same day return of the pah units it gets complicated.

Sorry but I will extend a bit in my explanation. My CPU was in the process of finishing a seti unit, which meant a 2 hour continuity, then stopped and took the one from Climate on process, which was on stand by, and which normally, in my case at least, runs for about one hour before quit and get the new unit on the list, which in this case was the first unit of pirates, BUT by that time, the report deadline was within the limit , or so I thought, but of course, it was 20 units, which went one after the other at 55 seconds each, so another 20 minutes were added before I was able to send the ready to report back.
When seeing my returned units, it shows a 3 hours late arrival.

So now, the request for thy dear pirate mates, could you extend a bit more longer the return dateline?

I just noticed I got one WU and processed it. Actually two did get done... so I can no longer say I have not gotten work. I got 2 ...

However, For the developers I would strongly suggest that you put some nominal credit claim in each WU, even if it is a random number. Then you can start looking at the processing of the credit and validator's efforts. Just my 2 cents ...

More info, it seems while sleeping, some units came in, got done and returned to server.
Not even knowing I saw the project credit line and... well 0.99 credit granted!!!
