I'm guessing you were trying to attach? The only time I've seen this happen is when you try to attach to a project and the servers have issues.

This is what I get. (already attached)

Pirates@Home - 2004-09-11 15:41:30 - Sending request to scheduler: http://pirates.vassar.edu/cgi-bin/scheduler
Pirates@Home - 2004-09-11 15:41:36 - Scheduler RPC to http://pirates.vassar.edu/cgi-bin/scheduler succeeded
Pirates@Home - 2004-09-11 15:41:36 - Message from server: Server can't find key file
Pirates@Home - 2004-09-11 15:41:36 - Project is down
Pirates@Home - 2004-09-11 15:41:36 - Deferring communication with project for 1 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds

Yes, the problem certainly is the server having issues. Most
recently the problems have been with code signing and the keys.
We moved the keys and the server could not find them. Now it can,
but meanwhile it seems that a feature of the new core client is
to detach you from the project when errors like this go on for long
enough.

The keys have been found, but there still are 'issues'. Even so,
thanks for helping us test this system.

thats weird mine detaches but it seems to be because it gets too many server not responding messages.
question: i know you dont have that much work and i dont really care but could you let it send us the other files that you have (if there are any. the other projects sent them though so i figure you have to)

The messages that I posted were from a second machine that I was attaching.. yes.. but this was after another machine detached itself, after having been running for 24+ hours.. so.. both conditions.

NOW.. I've got two machines attached to the pirates@home project.. so.. more better!! PLUS.. the project name used to be "http://pirates.vassar.edu/" .. now shows as "Pirates@Home"..

Yeah.. here was the messages from before.. on the machine that had been attached for the whiles..

http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:03:31 - Deferring communication with project for 6 minutes and 18 seconds
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:09:49 - Sending request to scheduler: http://pirates.vassar.edu/cgi-bin/scheduler
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:09:52 - Scheduler RPC to http://pirates.vassar.edu/cgi-bin/scheduler succeeded
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:09:52 - Message from server: Server can't find key file
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:10:31 - Resetting project
http://pirates.vassar.edu/ - 2004-09-11 13:10:31 - Detaching from project

>> The "key" to the probem was that "Message from server: Server can't find key file" .. so clearly, there was a server problem.. and now that's fixed!!! ..

THANKS TO OUR FINE PIRATE CREW!!!! HAR-DEE-HAR-HAR!!!!!! ;-)
